12 years as a journalist researching and reporting on food and drink trends gave me excellent grounding for the independent consultancy and copywriting I’ve been doing since 2015 – I’ve carried out trends and macro research, category context research and inspiration, led and participated in ideation sessions, designed research plans, carried out and analysed market research (interviews, focus groups, surveys and product testing) and identified innovation opportunities.
