Following a recent trip to Trang Province in Southern Thailand with Saiphin Moore of Rosa’s Thai Cafes in London, Victoria Stewart rounds up her favourite places to eat there.
The area
Trang, which runs along the southern Andaman Coast, is a town within a province of the same name, and one of 14 around Southern Thailand. You can fly there easily from Bangkok. The area’s main economy is cultivated from the many palm and rubber trees growing there, although the beaches further up in the coast in Krabi seem to be the main draw for tourists. Travellers would do well to venture further inland to the gastronomic hub of Trang itself.
